The Bolshoi Live at Underworld in Camden - Approx. Mid 1988

This is one of the last shows of the band's life -- at least one of the last shows in the UK. It took place at the Underworld club in London (Camden Town) soon after the club opened (to Paul Clark's recollection). I don't have a specific date for it at this time.

That said, amazing to get some unknown (at least to me) tracks out and to everyone. Some are better than others, but all have the all-to-familiar sound of the band and trademark lyrics of Mr. Tanner. My personal favorite, so far, is "Perfect Time," which (at least live) sounds like it could be a song by The Mission (not always a bad thing!). It also shows up as a Kite track I also like "Your House."

Among some of the other gems from the show are are "Happy Boy," which sounds great with a big crowd singalong, and "A Funny Thing," which translates well live.

The overall sound quality of this show is very, very good. It doesn't appear to be a soundboard recording, but it's better than your average audience recording! Again, thanks to Cash for making this show available!
